That sounds like some heavy duty cutting. For big stuff like that I raise the cutter about 1 -1 1/2 feet off the ground, back over the brush slowly, then lower the cutter and go forward slowly.

I'm quite happy with the TC25, I've been running the 5' bush hog, 6' landscape rake with out any problems. I am waiting to borrow or buy a 5' box scraper. The 4WD is a big plus for me. I have the R4 Industrial tires. They are 6 ply, good traction, and have strong sidewalls to keep from poking a small brush stump thru them.

$900 dollars? WOW, I just bought a 6' rake made by Howse(i think)that cost less than $300. You must be talking about a much heavier rake than what I bought.

Check my post earlier "TC25 now or TC33 later". I would already own a JD790 if the dealer had one in stock(4WD). He didn't, and since I had to wait, I went out of town 60 miles to the New Holland dealer. WOW! I love the little blue tractor. I looked at a TC25, it was very nice, great ergonomic controls and cab area. It had a great "Deluxe" hitch and R4 tires. I was considering waiting to get a price on the TC33 but I would have to wait a few weeks for delivery. The TC25 has a lift of 1635 lbs at 24" behide. The JD790 lift realy had me concerned also. You should atleast go look at a NH25. I was quoted $11695.

As soon as I can locate one set up the way I want it I'm gett'n it!
